Overview

Speaking at conferences can be extremely beneficial to career development, yet many qualitative researchers newer in their careers may find it intimidating or assume they don’t have a topic worth submitting. But your voice matters, and the industry wants to hear from YOU!

In this Qcast, seasoned conference speakers and industry experts Chris Hauck and Marta Villanueva will demystify the process of turning your unique ideas and new perspectives into opportunities to get your voice heard and build your visibility in the industry.

Whether you’re new to the industry or looking to take your career to the next level, this session will help you discover how to turn your passions, ideas and distinctive experiences into compelling conference proposals and presentations. We’ll practice fleshing out ideas together and clearly define the "what's in it for you" of conference speaking.

Join us for this interactive, career-changing hour and come away eager to submit your next speaking proposal!

This Qcast is a collaboration with QRCA’s Young Professionals Committee.
