Short Description:
This past year was a time of upheaval and change - all shrouded in uncertainty. Resilience and agility became buzzwords, and it seems nearly every aspect of life and work was virtual and on a computer or phone screen.   Qualitative professionals rose to the occasion, embracing new technologies and adapting methodologies and ways of working to adapt to our new reality. We’ve worked to educate our clients and teams on how we can still deeply explore ‘why’ and unearth meaningful human insights without being face-to-face.     As we emerge from this unprecedented time, it is an exciting time for qualitative professionals and students to REconnect and REenergize! At the first-ever, hybrid QRCA conference, we plan to offer engaging educational content, with more focus on connections, interactive discussions and conversations. We aim to have attendees gain skills and inspiration to take their research to the next level.

Qualitative has become the go-to methodology for understanding voter behavior of a small sliver of undecided voters living in the seven ‘swing’ states. Our next QRCA Qcast will be held on October 18 at noon ET, when we will hear from two panelists who are deeply involved in the psychology of voters: • Rich Thau, president of Engagious and moderator of the Swing Voter Project, who conducts monthly focus groups with undecided voters. • Susan Davis, Washington correspondent for NPR, the media partner who sponsors – and reports on – some of these focus groups.
