Overview

Based on popular demand, we are bringing back our book club for 2024!

Our first book will be Never Split the Difference, by Chris Voss. This book, written by a former FBI hostage negotiator, has come highly recommended as being useful to help you build skills for negotiation in every aspect of business and personal life. The book starts out by discussing approaches including mirroring, silence, and empathy. It refers to the importance of learning to recognize the other person’s perspective and assess what’s driving them. A quote from page three of the book: “I was employing what had become one of the FBI’s most potent negotiating tools: The open-ended question.”

Is this all sounding familiar? This will be an interesting read.

The meeting to discuss the book will be on Zoom Thursday, March 28 at 10AM PT. This should give you plenty of time to pick up the book and read it.

This meeting will not be recorded.
