Overview

Lloyd J. Harris Memorial Scholarship Announcement
Join the QRCA in celebrating the launch of the Lloyd J. Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund, an initiative that will make it possible for QRCA talent to receive formal moderation training at either the RIVA Market Research & Training Institute or The Burke Institute.
Lloyd’s brother, J.R Harris, and family friend, Diane (Harris) Bureman will regale attendees with tales about Lloyd fun and serious including his legacy as a pioneer in African American and LGBT market research.
With this session and initiative, QRCA tells the story of an accomplished Black researcher and entrepreneur in an industry where such stories are not often told or heard. And we honor Lloyd’s exuberance for the qualitative research craft and helping others become better researchers by eliminating the funding barrier for QRCA members early in their career or transition.
The Lloyd J. Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund is sponsored by The Burke Institute and The RIVA Market Research & Training Institute.
