Assumption Mapping in Discovery Research

My experience has been that some stakeholders know that research is a good thing, but don’t know how to get started. Thinking in terms of assumptions or hypothesis is a nascent muscle for many. Surfacing important assumptions to be validated through research is a key to de-risking the project before development starts in earnest. This will be a case study of how to work with stakeholders early in the project to identify assumptions and use that to plan and prioritize research.
