Qcast: Moving Beyond Lean UX-Using Exploratory Research to Drive Innovation Speed and Success
Original Program Date :

With the adoption of Lean product development methods, the cycles for creating and actualizing new product concepts have become increasingly rapid. In current Lean UX methodology, qualitative research is often focused mainly on usability testing and validation of concepts. The role of the qualitative researcher in many organizations has been marginalized by the perception of many executives that traditional qualitative research methodologies take too long to produce clear insights for driving product innovation. But qualitative research has value that is frequently untapped in current Lean UX processes. Jeff will share a 5-day process that that uses qualitative research methods in the initial stages of new product concept creation to guide innovation faster than current Lean UX methods.
